You spent last lesson making a plan and writing several paragraphs to answer this question.
You now have have 30 minutes to answer this question WITHOUT looking at any of this previous work.
Describe the ways in which your production work was informed by research into real media texts and how your ability to use such research for production developed over time.
Remember the skills you have learnt from the previous lessons when planning and writing your answer.
Make sure your answer is focused and concise, as well as referring to your AS and A2 coursework.
You may NOT use your notes to answer this question.
Part 2:
Look at the paragraphs you created in the previous lesson.
Highlight any points you may have forgotten to use or mention in your timed essay.
How are you going to make sure you remember these points in future?
Part 3:
Pair up with someone in your class, try to make it someone you don't usually work with.
You have 30 minutes to write 2-3 new paragraphs for the following question:
Describe how you developed your skills in the use of digital technology for media production how your ability to use these technologies developed over time.
You should help each other to think of examples you might want to use, as well as different ways of wording/structuring your sentences.
You can use elements of the paragraphs you have already written, but you should make sure the focus of these paragraphs is on digital technology rather than research. This should allow you to develop model paragraphs to answer this question.
You might want to look at the example answers from previous papers to gain some inspiration, but use each others opinions and knowledge to help each other out.
Part 4:
Think about what you have gained from writing alongside someone different.
Has this helped your writing process at all?
Has it given you a new perspective?
What will you take from this exercise that will help you with your answers in the future?
